CONSTITUENT UNITS

The following will form constituent units of N.M.O. (Primary Unit) :

i. A College/ Institute (modern Medical Teaching Institute) will form campus unit. (If membership is l l or more than l l.)
ii. Where there is no modern Medical Teaching Institute there will be a non campus unit. (If membership is l l or more than l l.)
iii. In one city both campus and non campus units can exist The 'central Unit' through state units will control and direct the various 'Primary Units'.

FORMATION OF NEW BRANCH :

A) For campus units :-
i. Member-11 or more than 11.
ii. Executive committee-President, Vice president, secretary, treasurer and members (5 to 7)
iii. Unit office will keep record of all members
iv. Unit must open its own separate account, singnatory will be President, secretary, Treasurer (or any member of local unit nominated by president of unit)
v. Unit office will keep record of all activities of unit.

B) For Non campus units :-
i. Members-11 or more than 11 members,
ii. Executive committee-President, Vice president, secretary, treasurer and members (5 to 7)
iii. Unit office will keep record of all members
iv. Unit must open its own separate account, singnatory will be President, secretary, treasurer (or any member of local unit nominated by president of unit)
v. Unit office will keep record of all activities of unit

Organisational Structure :

NMO shall consist of the branch at primary level (Campus unit/non campus unit) and central at top.

In between these two set ups, there shall be state units.

The Primary and Central Units of N. M. O. will have an Executive Body to look after the day-to-day affairs of the unit concerned, and to execute the policies of the N.M.O. in its region.

National level

i. There shall be a National Executive committee (NEC).

ii. N.E.C. will comprise:

* Patron
* Advisors
* President
* Vice Presidents
* Secretary
* Join secretary
* Treasurer
* Org. secretary
* Members of executives
* Editor NMO journal
* Co-Editor NMO journal
* State president/secretary/Treasurer

National Executive Body (NEB).

Comprises of all NEC members along with

* Primary unit (campus or Non campus) president
* Primary unit (campus or Non campus) secretary
* Primary unit (campus or Non campus) Treasurer

Adhoc units for short period with the consent of National president and Organising Secretary. These nominated office bearers will also be part of NEB till the formation unit and election of unit office bearers.

B) state level

* Advisors
* President
* Vice Presidents
* Secretary
* Join secretary
* Treasurer
* Member of executive-(5-6)

C) Primary unit (Campus and Non campus units)

* Advisors
* President
* Vice Presidents
* Secretary
* Join secretary
* Treasurer
* Member of executive-(5-6)

Finance :

Sources

i. Membership fee
ii. Gifts
iii. Donations
iv. Other payments from members or non-members.
v. The management of the NMO's finance will vest subject to the control of central unit, state and primary unit.
iv. For practical purposes every state and primary units will be an independent financial unit.
vii. Depending upon the share decided upon by the National Executive Committee. From time to time, state and primary unit will give respective share from all its income to the central unit.
viii. Donations raised for special purposes by the NMOs primary unit may be for exclusive use of that purpose only. conference or similar activities is to be transferred to the central unit.
